Over five weeks, you’ll learn to draft, sew and finish a corset created from your own measurements - with personal guidance from the first stitch to the final fitting.
Never used a sewing machine before? That’s completely fine. We’ll begin with the essentials and guide you through every stage of the process.
Made to Fit Your Measurements
You’ll create your own pattern and sew a corset shaped around your body, style and preferred fit.
Everything Is Included
Sewing machines, tools, fabrics, boning, eyelets and other supplies are ready for you in the studio. You only need to show up and create.
💡What You’ll Make and Learn
Create a Corset from Scratch
You’ll construct a classic overbust corset with adjustable straps and your choice of front or back lacing. Every detail will be adapted to your measurements and personal style.
Learn to Use a Sewing Machine
Learn how to set up and thread the machine, select and replace needles, control the fabric and sew clean, accurate seams.
Draft Your Own Corset Pattern
Take your measurements, create the pattern and adjust the length, shape and proportions to achieve a precise and comfortable fit.
Choose the Right Materials
Understand which fabrics, boning, eyelets and lacing work best for corsetry - and where to source them for your future projects.
Install Eyelets with a Professional Finish
Learn how to mark, reinforce and punch the fabric before setting eyelets and other metal components with a manual press.
Gain Skills You Can Use Again
By the end of the course, you’ll understand the essential principles of corset construction and be ready to explore new shapes, fabrics and designs independently.
Made by Our Students
Every corset in this gallery began with a piece of fabric, a pattern and someone willing to try. Many of our students arrived with no sewing experience and left wearing something they had made themselves.
Your first project can look this good too.
